Description
Native to Mexico, named for its resemblance to Habanero peppers. Bright, conical pods 5 to 7 cm long and 2 to 3 cm wide. Ripens from green to pale yellow, then orange-yellow when fully ripe. Fine, crisp flesh with a rather mild, spicy flavor, far from the heat of a habanero, 5K to 10 K SHU. Plant with green stems and foliage, white flowers. Very good mid-season production +/- 85 days.
