Description
Chilhuacle Negro is a traditional Mexican chili pepper from Oaxaca. The fruits are brown, thick-skinned and block-shaped. They are slightly spicy, but have a characteristic sweet, smoky flavor. They are most often used in powdered form for mole and other sauces in Mexican cuisine. Often, different chillies are combined to produce complex flavours.
